How to add a user

As the administrator it is possible to add users to give them access to the portal. Each user can have their own login details and personal profiles, including time zone, location, measurement formats and of course language. There is no limit to the number of users you can set up.

How to set alerts

Myionu™ has an intelligent alert centre which can be configured to generate Audio-Visual alerts on nominated users PC’s and Emails.

Alerts include

        • Area: Alerts can set when a device is inside (or outside) an area, or when it leaves (or enters) an area.
        • Battery: Alerts can set when the battery is greater than (or less than) a pre-set percentage.
        • Consumption: Alerts can set when the fuel consumption is greater than (or less than) a pre-set percentage. There is also an option to set fuel used over a period (in minutes).
        • Distance: Alerts can set when the distance travelled is greater than (or less than) a pre-set limit.
        • Door : Alerts can set when the door contact is open (or closed).
        • Driving : Alerts can set when the vehicle is driven more than (or less than) a preset duration.
        • Event: Alerts can set if an event is active (or inactive).
        • GSM: Alerts can set where GSM is active (or inactive).
        • Ignition: Alerts can set where ignition is on (or off).
        • Main Power: Alerts can set where the main power is greater than (or less than) a pre-set threshold.
        • Maintenance: Alerts can set where the maintenance schedule is due; this can be either hours or kilometers.
        • Duress: Alerts can set where a duress button is activated.
        • Parking: Alerts can set where a vehicle is (or is not) parked for a pre-set limit.
        • Proximity: Alerts can set where a device is within (or exceeds) a pre-set limit from another device.
        • Speed: Alerts can set where a device is more than (or less than) a pre-set speed when it updates.
        • Temperature: Alerts can set where a device is more than (or less than) a pre-set temperature threshold.

Note: Features may be device dependent.

How to add people

By adding people it is possible to attribute a person to a device or devices. Changes can be made on the fly, so it  Joe drives a truck today and a car tomorrow all of Joe’s history can be viewed.

In selected models it is possible to add a driver ID key.  A key reader is installed in the vehicle and each driver is given a unique driver ID key. By simply presenting this to the reader, the driver will automatically register and change on the portal.

How to add a POI

POI’s Can be put into groups

With Myionu™ it is possible to add an infinite number of POI, these can include anything from fixed speed cameras, schools, customers and much more. POI’s can be imported or added manually with just a few clicks. POI’s can can be set as individual locations or as part of a group of locations.

How to add areas or geofences.

With Myionu™ it is possible to add an infinite number Areas, also know as geofences. The can include  customer site, suppliers, no go areas and much more. Adding an area is easy with just a few clicks. Areas can can be set as individual locations or as part of a group of locations.

Report and alerts can also be generate from activity within an area. For example raise and alert to send an email when device arrives at a given location. An example of reporting would be to show the activity within an area for selected or all devices.

Type of Alerts

It is possible to set up a wide range of Alerts which can consist of one or several criteria to provide the Alert.

For example,

Fuel Performance

CANBus is a protocol of communication connected to the telemetry of the vehicle. From a CanBus unit, we can get information from the odometer, fuel consumed, level of the fuel tank, RPM, speed, % of the use of brakes, or the accelerator and to generate advanced reports

With this report we can see if driving habits are within the defined parameters.

        1. Shows the % of times that the usage of the vehicle is under the speed, acceleration, bake or idle limit.  If the bar is completed, this means that the vehicle is used constantly under the limits established. If the bar doesn’t reach the 100%, this means that the limits have been exceeded.
          Next to this, we can see the times that it has been exceeded and the amount.
